Validation EP in Bulgaria

The European patent is issued by the European Patent Office. Once a notice of the grant of a European patent has been published in the European Patent Bulletin, the European patent must be validated in each of the selected countries previously mentioned within a specified period in order to maintain the protection on the territory of the country concerned and the patent law to be applicable against infringers.

The deadline for validation in Bulgaria is 3 months from the date of grant.

Full translation into Bulgarian language of specification, claims and drawings (if any) is still mandatory. Bulgaria is member state of EPC from 2002 and during the last 20 years we have created our own team of translators in various technical fields, which allows us to offer excellent service at reasonable price.
